The Peterson home was built in the winter of 2003. In spite of the cold weather, heavy snow and extreme temperatures this house went up with no qualms.  A Country home with all of the old farm style features. This neat design includes the wrap around porch, and the bayed breakfast area in the kitchen. White paned grids in the windows add to this nostalgic look. The interior matches the exterior in style from the old wringer washer in the laundry room to the great stone hearth. Off the laundry is the ½ bath with cute outhouse trim. In the country kitchen is a stained glass pantry door trimmed in red with corresponding dark forest green and maple cabinets. Thick plank flooring runs through out the entire first level.  Dark green Farm style crown molding decorates the ceiling, while matching base trim borders the rest of the home.  The floor to ceiling entry entertains the huge chandelier that sets off this farm designed home. Hand made wood rail follows the stairway up to the 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and extra closets.  The balcony overlooking the stair entry holds enough room for a computer area. There is also a cozy corner for quiet moments of reading, sewing projects or nostalgic reflections while gazing at the beautiful northwest mountains. Each room has its own unique Country flair.
